• Develop and maintain communications expertise and assistance to government and NGO stakeholders with respect to working with media agencies. • Assist governments and NGOs with media campaign planning and execution including activities required to do market research, message testing, work with advertising and creative agencies and guide media planning/placement. • Represent the organization and Union as communications officers at meetings with government and NGO stakeholders. • Keep Union and the team apprised of relevant media stories and developments through a daily email summary. • Write press releases, statements, letters to the editor, questions and answers, fact sheets, columns, website copy, and other materials as needed to provide information to the press both proactively and reactively.

• College degree and fast learner with three or more years of job related experience within health communications sector. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in an international team environment with solid interpersonal and verbal communication skills. • Fluently speaking, reading and writing in both Mandarin Chinese and English. • Successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
