KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES
At least 5 years controller experiences at multinational company in manufacturing industry. Must have solid experiences in MANUFACTURING finance, accounting and cost control, familiar with accounting regulations, US & PRC GAAP; have commercial acumen combined with risk awareness, be able to structure and analyse a great and complex amount of data; be able to achieve results with constantly changing priorities. Have excellent communication and problem solving skills. Have good English, and Mandarin language skills, and be familiar with Excel.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Oversee all daily accounting processes, ensure that proper books of accounts are maintained, and comply with US GAAP.
2. Forecasting, budget, standard cost reports and variance analysis.
3. Perform weekly and monthly forecasts by analyzing financial and operations results and highlighting areas of concerns to business and operation managers. And ensure timely and accurate monthly internal closing.
4. Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets, working with business and functional managers.
5. Monitor overheads and ensure that cost control procedures/initiatives implemented are undertaken effectively and in a timely manner.
6. Provide financial analysis data to management for business plans and business strategies decision-making.
7. Improve asset management, identify and avoid credit risk for the company. Control the authorization process of payable accounts and cash transactions. Review the appropriateness of internal controls and risk management.
8. Manage, guide, supervise and ensures staffs maintain high standard professionalism and attitude to their jobs. Ensure staff’s awareness on corporate policies.

OVERALL REQUIREMENTS
The controller will lead the finance department with annual turnover around USD 500 million dollars in carrying out financial and management accounting functions including financial statement preparation, forecasting and analysis.
1. The management accounting functions includes working with Business Unit and Operations to improve whole plant performance. P&L analysis and follow up for outstanding items. Details includes P&L review by plant and customers, forecasting, BOM , margin, inventory valuation and analysis, excess and obsolete inventory analysis, AR overdue review, payroll, cash cycle days and relevant management functions
2. The financial accounting function includes month end closing of general ledger, corporate reporting, credit/collections and accounts receivable, fixed assets, audit planning and management, tax reporting and cash management where applicable.
3. The Controller's primary responsibility though, is to be an indispensable resource to both the operations and business management sides of the business, providing economic guidance and advice to maximize profit and make the best use of company resources.
4. Prepare corporate management reports in accordance with the company accounting rules and deadlines.
5. Implement company policies and procedures, including SOX compliance.
6. Recruit, organize, train, lead, motivate and maintain staff in the department to achieve the objective set in this description.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Solid finance/accounting working experience in manufacturing site for more than 8 years with 4+ in managerial position
2. Good at cost analysis, finance reporting & internal control
3. Mature and capable to work in matrix organization
4. Comfortable in high pressure working
5. SAP or Oracle knowledge will be plus
